Classical Homeopathy

Sabrina Foldi, DCH

Sabrina Foldi I have always had an interest in human behavior, even as a young girl. In my later years, at the University of Victoria, I studied psychology and discovered that a person's emotional state can cause physical symptoms. At this time, I began to wonder if there was some way to free people from their negative thoughts and emotions. I wondered if emotional health could fortify someone against disease.

In 2004, I enrolled at the Transformational Arts College in Toronto to study holistic medicine. Here, I learned the strengths of many modalities – my studies included Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Iridology, Nutrition, Reflexology, Reiki, and Shiatsu, but I was most affected by the course on Homeopathy. I decided to move to Vancouver to study Homeopathy at a deeper level.

I obtained my Diploma in Classical Homeopathy from the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy. In the 4-year professional program, I not only studied Homeopathy, but also studied anatomy and physiology, treated patients in a Student Clinic, and conducted over 100 hours of Supervised Case Studies.

I have helped patients with the following issues:

  • Acne
  • Anger management
  • Arthritis
  • Back pain
  • Candida
  • Career change
  • Dementia
  • Depression
  • Digestive disorders Menstrual disorders
  • Divorce
  • Drug abuse
  • Eczema
  • Edema
  • Exhaustion
  • Hair loss
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Insomnia
  • Migraines
  • Obesity
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Sciatica
  • Sleep-walking

I am also a member of SideBySide Homeopathy. We are a group of professional Homeopaths dedicated to providing Homeopathic treatment to socially and economically marginalized people in the downtown east side of Vancouver and associated treatment centers. I am currently providing Homeopathic care as part of a treatment program for women in recovery at the Rainier Hotel.

I am inspired by the beautiful simplicity of Homeopathy. It also answers the questions I've had for over a decade - Homeopathy acknowledges that mind and body are one, that a patient is treated as a whole, and not as a list of symptoms, and that the emotional state of the patient is heavily considered in determining the best remedy for the patient. Homeopathic care can free you from unhealthy patterns of thought, behavior and illness. I am constantly reminded of this as I see my clients gain this freedom in their own lives. I welcome the opportunity to introduce you to Homeopathy.
